Miss Waugh told us in assembly that practice makes perfect and she explained that she has been doing dog agility for about six years. After two years, with lots of practice and determination, her dogs started winning medals as all the hard work started to pay off. Miss Waugh’s dogs now compete nationally and internationally and she has recently got through the Olympia Trials and will be competing in December. The children easily related her dog agility work to our school values-identifying the need for friendship, determination, respect, courage, tolerance and self-belief. Miss Waugh talked about these values being essential in all we do. We were all impressed with her five dogs and really enjoyed meeting them again. Thank you Miss Waugh and good luck for Olympia!
