Chris from Konflux Theatre visited for the day and involved our youngsters in an interactive play to learn more about internet safety. Three characters were used to represent different elements of internet safety: Gamer, Super Fred and Bobby. Gamer was used to teach children how to stay safe, by not sharing any personal information online. Super Fred was a super hero who taught the children to tell their parents what their passwords were, but not to tell anyone else. Bobby taught the children about how to stay safe from cyber-bullying and about not posting photos of others without permission. All the way through, the children were reminded that the world wide web is wonderful if used well and to always tell a trusted adult about any problems they have.
