We are very grateful to Mr Hale, our visitor from the fire service, who came into assembly last Friday to remind us all about how to stay safe at Bonfire Night celebrations. We were reminded to hold sparklers safely; dispose of them safely; stay at a safe distance away from the bonfire and fireworks and to listen to grown-ups. He told us not to handle fireworks ourselves and what to wear to protect ourselves from sparks.
Miss Berry dressed in fire protective clothing and demonstrated ‘Stop, Drop, Roll’ very well!
